Little is known about John Kingham Cycles of Aylesbury, Bucks, but I managed to find an old postcard showing the Kingham Cycles shop in Tring, Herts. If you look closely, you can see a tricycle very similar to this one in the photo.
The Kingham is an old-time restoration (I believe from the 1990s). The Kerry pedals are lovely, the nickel is good, and it’s fully functional. It retains its original handlebar grips, though they have an update that was popular in the 1900s …bottle tops have been used in place of the end caps on the grips. The leather saddle top is homemade, by the previous owner’s husband in the 1990s, and he has made a good job of it. The Kingham is the only known survivor of this marque, is still in excellent condition all round, and is ready to ride.
