I’m not sure of its exact date of manufacture, but the information I received when I had a similar bicycle in 2012 was that after the German 3-speed Adler was introduced in 1937, the Swiss developed the Mutaped Phoebus 3-speed gear to compete. It’s a very well preserved original bicycle in excellent working order and ready to ride.
