Western Wheel Works was one of America’s earliest cycle manufacturers, and their ‘Crescent’ range, introduced in the early 1890s, were among the best selling bicycles throughout the decade. This example is in superb original unrestored condition. Recently a friend described bicycles such as this to me as ‘accidental survivors.’ The point is that, despite campaigns during several wars to recyvel old bicycles, they have survived against all the odds.
