1910 Dursley Pedersen Rear Carrier & Luggage Box

Original Dursley Pedersen accessories rarely come up for sale. This auction lot is for two rare accessories, a rear carrier, and also wicker basket that fits on top and is specially made for the Pedersen. A Pedersen has very narrow seat stays, and the gap where the basket fits around the seat stay is too narrow to fit to other bicycles. Both items are in excellent condition, and the only thing required to fit them to a Dursley Pedersen is a small metal oblong plate with a hole in the centre for the threaded clamp bolt on the front of the rack. I’ve owned them for 12 years, waiting to put them on a Pedersen; but each time I’ve bought one I’ve ended up selling it (and the one in my personal collection is small so is not suitable for accessories). It’s now time for a fellow enthusiast’s Dursley Pedersen to enjoy it.
