I may say that after 2000 miles on the Cantilever I would not return to the Diamond Frame for anything. There is no comparison between the two. I can take hills quite easily that are considered unrideable by strong riders. I find side slip has no terrors for me now, on the Dursley Pedersen.

In the past few years, the Dursley Pedersen bicycle has been elevated to iconic status. They are now much harder to find …and prices have appreciated beyond the budget of the casual vintage rider and collector. Although some enthusiasts may complain, this situation is, of course, an accurate reflection of their original position in the bicycle market.
…Because 100 years ago they were also beyond the budget of all but the richest cyclists, one of the main factors in the failure of the company. But also, of course, an essential part of their appeal.
This example is an older restoration, and has been in storage for the past five years. Its beautiful original Dursley Pedersen pedals are extremely hard to find. There are nicks to the paint, but that could be easily touched up. The nickel is tarnished in places and the tyres should be replaced. The machine needs a good clean and polish. The cover for the Dursley Pedersen three speed gear is not hinged as it should be (a common issue, as the small hinge was easily broken); however, it clips on effectively so is not an issue. Apart from these cosmetic concerns, this is a good solid machine with no structural issues, and it would be easy to prepare it for the road or display.
This size is suitable for someone with an inner leg measurement around 35″ and height around 6′.
