Looking back to a time before colour photography, it’s easy to lose perspective of how colourful life might have been. Conservative society, particularly in Great Britain, dictated decorum in goods for sale. However, in the twenties, people’s tastes started to change, and more vehicles were sold with a choice of colour. Bicycle manufacturers had always offered colour options, though these days it’s rare to come across an original example in any colour besides black. This Royal Enfield Special Green Lady’s stands out.
