1929 Hercules Popular 23″ Gent’s Roadster

 

The history of the Hercules Cycle & Motor Co Ltd provides some very interesting insights into the cycle trade in the early years of the twentieth century. The Hercules marque enthusiast and cycle historian Andrew Millward has written an article on the subject, which I have reproduced here.
