1929 Low-Built Golden Sunbeam for Gentlemen
22″ Frame
26″ Wheels
Frame No 154013
(Now sold)

The ‘Low-Built’ Golden Sunbeam is similar to the 28″ wheel model but the bottom bracket is lower to the ground. This ‘Low-Built’ is well-preserved, though most of the transfers (decals) have now faded. The grips are racing style. It could do with a service after being in storage for some time, but is otherwise ready to ride.

THE LOW-BUILT SUNBEAM
‘The low-built Sunbeam as illustrated below has become so popular that we have decided to supply it at the same price as the standard Golden and Royal Sunbeams.
The machine is built with the crank bracket 11 inches from the ground. This, with the 26 inch wheels and suitable size frame, allows the rider to place a foot on the ground as shown.
It is a very safe mount, especially for those who are no longer youthful, and will enable riders who are at all nervous to cycle with confidence.
For convenience in traffic it is undoubtedly the ideal machine as the rider may now sit nearer the ground with greatly increased control, security and confidence.’
