The Presto Speed-O-Byke was the world leader when it came to children’s pedal-operated motorcycles. Various other American companies copied the idea, though theirs looked sufficiently different to avoid patent infringement. For example they designed them as earlier ‘flat tank’ style miniature motorcycles rather than the saddle tank design that predominated with adult size motorcycles by 1930.
This example, however, looks very much like a clone of the Presto, and, for that reason, I think it’s British rather than American. I bought it in England. I don’t know the manufacturer.
