1930s Folding Bicycle Trailer
Also suitable for small motorcycles and scooters.
LENGTH (when fitted): 64″
14″ Tyre (350 x 55)
Single wheel cycle trailers were much more popular in France than in Britain. As well as being used for cycle touring, they were also often used behind small motorcycles and scooters.
This example fits easily onto the seat post of a bicycle, but its unique design means that when not in use it can be folded and stored upright or hung on a hook on a wall.
It’s in excellent unrestored condition, with original paintwork and pinstriping intact. I’ve owned lots of cycle trailers and sidecars, but have never seen another folding one like this.
