This is the front half of one of this winter’s projects. As you can see from the period photos and illustrations below, the French Cyclauto ‘triporteur’ was mated to a rear two-wheel ‘trailer’ section.

I’ll update this page when this mysterious beast eventually lands in Brighton…

UPDATE 15th AUGUST 2013

Well, the Cyclauto front end did eventually arrive in Brighton. But, with lots of other jobs in the queue, I didn’t get round to setting it up with a rear end last winter.

However, I’ve now managed to find a complete example – below – and hopefully this new one will be delivered to me at Beaulieu Autojumble next month.

It will be much easier having a complete one to use as a pattern for restoring the first Cyclauto …with the added advantage that we can then have Cyclauto races 🙂
