1939 Motorola B150 Bicycle Radio
Serial No B150 5826
This very rare prewar valve bike radio is waiting to become the centerpiece of a lucky vintage bicycle enthusiast’s collection. I’ve never tested it, and there is no battery pack with it. But it’s in lovely original unrestored condition …and have you ever seen another?
I photographed it fitted to the handlebar of my 1937 Mercury (now sold). I’ve owned it since 2011 and it’s one of my best pieces of American treasure. Is it time for it to head back across The Atlantic?
