1951 Gene Autry Velocipede Tricycle
Front Wheel: 16 x 1.75
Rear Wheel: 10 x 1.76
Though the Gene Autry Boy’s and Girl’s bicycles were well-promoted, and small 16″ versions were also made for three to six-year-olds, I’ve yet to find any publicity for the Gene Autry Velocipede Tricycle. It’s possible it was made by a third-party supplier rather than Monark, so was not included in Monark’s advertisements. Of all the velocipede tricycles made over many years in America, surely the Gene Autry is the most attractive.
