1963 Motoconfort Girls’ bicycle

This charming ‘velo fillette’ (girls’ bicycle) is in excellent unrestored original condition. It’s a lovely model, with detail touches that you wouldn’t find on a British child’s bicycle of the era, such as inverted brake levers, stylish gear case and duplex frame tubing. The metalwork of the rear carrier support has an ‘M’ motif on both sides, and the ‘M’ features on various transfers (decals) as well as on the saddle. It’s really a scaled down version of an adult bicycle from the same manufacturer. With a 14″ frame and 18″ wheels, this Motoconfort is suitable for a girl aged around eight years old, and it’s ready to ride.
