I purchased this interesting (and rare) 1966 Bootie Cycle from the son of the original owner. Paul had gone with his dad, Noel Sharpe, in 1966 to an industrial trade exhibition in Birmingham, and that’s where Noel bought it. The Bootie has had little use and, apart from a clean and polish, is ready to display and ride.
The Sturmey-Archer gear shows a date of May, 1966, and I’ve used this as a guide to its age.
