Around 2006 I bought a rare ‘Rambler’ autocycle. This name was the export badge for the Norman Cycle Co. As it was the only one in Britain, I decided to name its website ‘The Rambler Owners’ Club’.

As my vintage bicycle collecting gathered steam, I bought an 1895 Rambler ladies’ bicycle from the USA. It was manufactured by Gormully & Jeffery, one of the leading US cycle makers in the 1890s. This was followed by an 1895 Rambler tandem, and then some early British Rambler bicycles. If it says Rambler on the badge, it ended up here…

So the website ended up being a museum for American Ramblers…
