Cycle makers rarely advertised frame sizes beyond 26 inches. If a customer required an larger frame than that, a company would always supply them with one as a special order. This 28″ frame machine, with double top tube, was a special order based on the All-weather Tourist model, with optional extras. The original owner purchased it from Kemp Cycles in High St, Haddenham, Bucks. My friend John has owned it for several decades, but doesn’t ride it much now, so he has sold it to me; these are his photos. He had the hub brakes professionally relined, and has kept it well serviced so that it’s in first class mechanical order and ready for a new owner to ride.
