My friend Julian restores classic cars, and he bought this bicycle from one of his customers who had it hanging in his garage for many years.  I ended up buying it and took the photo below at Julian’s garage next to the Bugatti he was working on.

This Vianzone was built using Acacia, ash and beech wood. The frame is built in one continuous strip of ash and beech, and the seat stem is made from beech too. The hollow spindle and bearings are contained in an aluminium shell bolted to the frame. The weight is 21 lbs. The chainset is aluminium and it has a wooden handlebar and wooden wheel rims.

It was missing its mudguards, chainguard and brakes when I bought it, and I’ve left it like that as I think it looks good uncluttered. It’s in sound unrestored original condition, with intact original transfers (decals).
