1950 Scooting Star scooter

 

I visited an old friend in San Diego in January, 2019, and he showed me how he’d found the model of scooter he’d owned when he was a child. It was on display in his lounge. Those first childhood scooter rides led to his career in motorcycle racing and later-life hot rod building.
