1928 Stenton Glider Super Tandem
Frame: 21.5″ front; 21″ rear
26″ Wheels
(Now sold)
The Stenton Glider, built at the company’s Ardwick workshop in Manchester, is one of very few surviving tandems from this company. The pull up front brake and coaster rear brake provide a practical set up for fast touring and give it an uncluttered appearance. The machine was repainted many years ago; the mudguards are metal; it has four matching rat trap pedals; the Brooks leather saddles are sound; some of the nickel is tarnished. It’s a solid machine in good mechancial condition with original spec and is ready to ride.
