With its biflex front fork and rear stays, the Ariel stood out from the crowd in its day, and it still does.

This rare survivor is in sound condition all round, though the paint is weathered and the saddle is scruffy. One grip has a slit underneath. It looks like it was repainted about 40 years ago, and it could do with either painting again or rubbing down to bare metal, according to preference. I fitted new tyres and tubes recently and it’s ready to ride.
